Here is a beautiful set of Spessartine Garnets! They are a stunning bright mandarin orange color that is like fire. They are matching concave round cuts that exhibit the color beautifully. These Spessartines were coming out steadily several years ago, but now seem to be a dwindling treasure. This set glitters and flashes nicely, but the colors are the dominant feature. Concave cutting is created with cylindrical burs that make concave cuts into the surface of the gem. The table of the stone is still flat faceted to allow for the best light return. These will make several spectacular sets of earrings! Enjoy!
