Tourmaline is such a lovely gem material, but Rubellite is some of the best. The Nigerian material is difficult to obtain in any quantity, which is a shame because it is some of the best Rubellite on the planet. This stone has a stunning bright rose pink color that is enchanting and sensual. The gem glitters beautifully in the hand when moved, and generates lovely flashes of hot pink in the sunlight. The clarity of this gem is excellent for Rubellite, which tends to be riddled with inclusions. This stone almost certainly should be set in jewelry and would make an excellent ring center stone.
