Montana Rhodolite Garnet is an excellent American gem material and hard to find. The Ruby River, along with the Ruby River Reservoir, still have a good amount of small gem material that washes up every year. There are actually rubies in the reservoir and can be found at night using a UV light. This stone was cut from material found in the 1970’s that now cannot be replaced. This stone has excellent clarity and beautiful glitter. The color is a saturated purple/pink that is enchanting. This stone is a real America treasure and will make an excellent piece of jewelry. Gorgeous is all I can say! Garnet is my birthstone, and I am especially fond of the pinkish hue of the rhodolite garnets. This one is absolutely beautiful with a clear inner glow and lots of sparkle.
