These rare and interesting Gilalite included Quartz specimens came out of Brazil over 10 years ago, and very little of this material has been found since. Gilalite is a rare Copper Silicate mineral that was named for and discovered in Gila County, Arizona. This piece has a nice stripe of Gilalite running diagonally through the middle of the gem. There is a strip of micro iron oxide running alongside of the Gilalite, which gives a nice compliment of color to the pale baby blue. The Gilalite is easily visible even from a distance, and is positioned well inside of the stone. Don’t miss out on this intriguing rarity! Enjoy!
