This is a intriguing and gorgeous Tourmaline gemstone! This material is now difficult to replace because this is an old production of Tourmaline from Nigeria. This lovely pink color material was coming out about 10 years ago and has since dried up. These production showed vibrant color and exceptional clarity. Now this rough is all but gone, except in a few rare finds. This stone has a fabulous and intriguing cut. This “X” pattern bar cut is cut with diagonal lines on each side, when these sides reflect you get an “X” pattern in the center that shifts as you move the stone. It is the kind of stone you can get lost in when watching the optics. This stone will make a fantastic piece of jewelry, particularly a ring that can display the transition inside the stone. This stone was created by Allyce Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co., During March 2019. Enjoy!
