Here is an exquisite Zircon! This gem has a gorgeous crimson red color that is saturated and has a regal appearance. The cut is crisp and quite spectacular in this material. This is a precsion cut, custom heart shape that has been optimized for Zircon. The appearance in hand is mesmerizing and the flash rolls beautifully when that stone is moved. The clarity of the stone is excellent and looks like candy! The stone displays slight multi-color flash out in the sunlight. You can see the classic birefringence (facet doubling) that Zircon displays in the photos. Zircon has a bad rap because it is often confused by many as cubic zirconia. However, Zircon is a natural mineral and chemically is zirconium orthosilicate. This stone is just waiting to be set into jewelry. This stone will make an outrageous cocktail ring and will look be showstopping! However, this would be well suited for a dangle pendant with Diamond accents. The stone is over 7 carats which is a fantastic size for any gemstone, but in this gorgeous material it is irresistible.
