Here is a fantastic pair of Tourmalines! This exceptional gem material came from a new production out of the Congo. The color is a rich deep green with slight hints of blue. The color is very similar to a chrome green tourmaline, but neither of these or chrome bearing. The matching cut is a concave cut round that is fantastic for this deep color material. Concave cutting is achieved with cylincrical burs that carve into the stone. The result is a radiant pattern flash that creates a unique light return. The table of the stone is still flat faceted to allow for optimal light return. The clarity of these are excellent. The stones glitter nicely in hand flash brightly out in the sunlight. These are going to make a fantastic pair of earrings, being both rich in color and a great size! Enjoy!
