Maine at one time was the largest producer of Tourmaline in the country. Still to this day, mines are producing world class gem Tourmaline. This material was mined in the last few years at the Havey Mine just outside of Portland. The color of these stones are a nice bright green with a hint of yellow that is lovely in hand. The clarity of this material is excellent and just water clear. This is a nice calibrated match pair of rounds that can be set easily into jewelry, either earrings or as accents. Enjoy!
