Here is a brilliant Zircon! This gem has a light champagne color with a brilliant silvery quality that is stunning in person. The clarity of this stone is excellent and has just breathtaking flash! The stones display excellent multi-color flash out in the sunlight. The cut is a custom shield shape named Kitsunemen and was created by Arya Akhavan and Willie Klaja. You can see the classic birefringence (facet doubling) that Zircon displays in the photos. Zircon has a bad rap because it is often confused by many as cubic zirconia. However, Zircon is a natural mineral and chemically is zirconium orthosilicate. This stone will make an excellent piece of jewelry, particularly a ring and will look nearly identical to fancy colored Diamond! Enjoy!
