Here is a fun gem! This stone looks plain enough, just a nice blue Sapphire from Sri Lanka. However, when you get in close with magnification then you see something quite interesting. Just under the table on one side is a well-defined, negative crystal inclusion. This is a formation of Sapphire inside the stone that is inverted and there is negative space inside, filled with liquid. These type of inclusions are fantastic to see. There is a whole different world inside of gemstones and Sapphires are renowned for their unique inclusions. Besides the negative crystal, this stone is actually quite stunning in hand. Enjoy!
