Coober Pedy, South Australia is world renowned for is gorgeous veins of solid white Opal. This fantastic cabochon displays a “Pin Fire” pattern of red, orange, green, and blue color flash. The white Opal is gemmy/ translucent and when backlit has a yellow color. This cab is practically calibrated and could be easily set into a pendant. The piece has been out of the ground for over 10 years now, and is quite stable. This cabochon has not been treated and is a solid Opal, not a doublet or triplet variation. A must for any Opal lover!
