This is a top quality pink Spinel! Burma is the world’s largest and arguably the finest producer of gem grade Spinel. This stone has a stunning silvery pink color that is so attractive. The glitter and life in this stone is exceptional when moved around in the hand. The polish on this stone is excellent, and gives this stone superb light return. I just love Spinels for their silvery shades of color and aluminum like luster that looks particularly fine in jewelry. This gem will certainly be perfect for the center stone of a ring if so desired, but is without a doubt collection grade as well. The cut is a modified round called Ruination, and was designed by Arya Akhavan. This design works beautifully on Spinel and the results are breathtaking. This stone was faceted by Allyce Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co. during August 2017. Enjoy!
