Here is a beautiful set of Spessartine Garnets! They range in color slightly from a nice bright orange to a medium mandarin orange, all of which are lovely. They are all matching concave round cuts that exhibit the colors beautifully. They are all matching 6 mm diameter except 2 of them which are 5.5 mm. These Spessartines were coming out steadily several years ago, but now seem to be a dwindling treasure. This set glitters and flashes nicely, but the colors are the dominant feature. Concave cutting is created with cylindrical burs that make concave cuts into the surface of the gem. The table of the stone is still flat faceted to allow for the best light return. This set was assembled to create a gorgeous bracelet! The 2 smaller stone would be placed on either end of the bracelet. When finished this piece will be a one of kind! Enjoy!
