Here is a beautiful set of Spessartine Garnets! They range in color from a nice bright orange to a medium mandarin orange, all of which are lovely. They are all matching concave round cuts that exhibit the colors beautifully. They are all matching 6 mm diameter. These Spessartines were coming out steadily several years ago, but now seem to be a dwindling treasure. This set glitters and flashes nicely, but the colors are the dominant feature. Concave cutting is created with cylindrical burs that make concave cuts into the surface of the gem. The table of the stone is still flat faceted to allow for the best light return. This set will look spectacular in a jewelry and could make a series of rings! Enjoy!
