Here is a beautiful set of Spessartine Garnets! They are all a nice crisp bright orange color that is stunning. They are all matching concave round cuts that exhibit the color beautifully. The center stone is 4.5 mm and the other four are 4 mm each. These Spessartines were coming out steadily several years ago, but now seem to be a dwindling treasure. This set glitters and flashes nicely, but the colors are the dominant feature. Concave cutting is created with cylindrical burs that make concave cuts into the surface of the gem. The table of the stone is still flat faceted to allow for the best light return. This set will look spectacular in a piece of jewelry and will make a one of a kind ring! Enjoy!
