This is an intriguing and unusual Agate from Wyoming. Youngite is a brecciated reddish-brown to peach jasper that was then re-healed by deposition of cream-colored chalcedony. Often the entire rock is then covered by druzy quartz crystals. This piece has a peach color Jasper with a lavender color Chalcedoy, which turns cream colored when backlit. The main locality where this material is found has been closed, but small pieces are still found near the Guernsey Reservoir. Enjoy!
