Here is a truly superb Aquamarine! This stone was cut from a crystal that was found in the late 1970’s in a hand digging operation. The pocket that was found produced some of the deepest color Aquamarine ever discovered in North America. The majority of the crystals had significant inclusions and were not gem grade, but still did have superb color. Only a few of the crystals were facetable, and this stone was cut from one of those select few. For American gemstones, Idaho Aquamarine is one of the most desired and sought after. This stone displays an exceptional denim blue color that is irresistible, especially for Aquamarine. The clarity of this stone is incredible for Idaho material and looks water clear in hand. This stone is now irreplaceable from Idaho and very difficult to replace in this color from any other world locality.
