This lovely gem does a slight color shift from a honey in daylight to a peachy-pink in incandescent. This stone also has lovely Rutile needle inclusions throughout the stone that give this stone an interesting appearance. Color change minerals make some of the most fascinating gemstones in the world. The unique ability of these stones to be different colors from room to room is a delighting feature in jewelry. This material came out of Tanzania several years ago, and not much of it is left. There are few bright colored or even pastel Garnet materials in the world and are actually quite rare. Enjoy!
