Oregon Sunstone is one of the most beautiful gems for North America, and is one of the few elite gemstones that is a naturally red color. The Oregon material is typically included with “shiller” or Copper particles that give gemstones a beautiful and unique appearance. This stone is large for being over 8 carats and has absolutely stunning appearance. The “shiller” is abundant throughout the stone and there are some unique red stripes of color through the middle of the stone. The Atlas cushion cut allows the “shiller” to glitter from multiple angles and flashes beautifully when moved in the hand. This stone will make a fantastic and unique pendant. This stone was faceted by Brett and Allyce Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co. Brett faceted the pavilion and Allyce faceted the crown. Enjoy!
