This beautiful golden yellow Danburite came out of Madagascar several years ago and is pretty unique. Danburite is fairly uncommon on the market and good gem quality material only comes from a few localities in the world. What is special about the Madagascar material is that the color is completely natural. Danburite also has a distinctive adamantine luster that is bright and eye catching. This stone has a stunning emerald shape barion cut that has such nice polish and excellent light return. Danburite glitters beautifully, but this cut really makes it sparkle. This stone will be gorgeous in jewelry, but is actually a significant collector’s stone because of it’s natural color and limited production. These are very limited and have been in high demand. I love working with Danburites in jewelry because of their unique appearance, but these Madagascar stones are really a treat.
