Here is a fantastic Sunstone! Oregon Sunstone is one of the most beautiful gems from North America, and is a favorite material for gem cutters. The versatility and variety of Sunstone is so desirable, with its colors and glittery inclusions. The Oregon material is typically included with “Shiller” or Copper particles that give gemstones a beautiful and unique appearance. This stone has sprays of large copper crystals and a micro misting or copper that makes this stone glitter! It has been faceted and fantasy cut to achieve this unique shape. The shape is of a wing with the lines of the cuts resembling the feathers. The piece has such a striking appearance in hand and is polished beautifully. This stone will look gorgeous in a piece of jewelry and will certainly be a center for attention. These types of carvings are traditionally set into pendants.
