This is a gorgeous Sunstone! Oregon Sunstone is one of the most beautiful gems from North America, and is one of the few elite gemstones that are naturally red color. The Oregon material is typically included with “Shiller” or Copper particles that give gemstones a beautiful and unique appearance. This stone has very little Copper Shiller inclusion and has excellent clarity. It has been faceted, carved and fantasy cut to produce this stunning design! The piece has such a striking appearance in hand and is polished beautifully. This stone has a graded mixture of red and champagne colors. The cut is a pear shape, but the design is representative of a meteor upon entry to the atmosphere. In the back of the stone you can see a spherical center point with flaming burst cut streaking from it. This gorgeous stone will certainly make an exceptional piece of jewelry.
