This is a beautiful Tourmaline gemstone! This lovely gem material came from a production in Nigeria that has since been mined out. It is a watermelon color bicolor with light green on one end and a maroon red throughout the body. There are several distinct color stripes graded down the stone, which is an exciting effect. The cut is a long bar shape that has been fantasy cut. The sharpness of the work is astounding. The detail on this piece demonstrates an excellent skill and a fantastic piece of rough. This is part of the Ordered Chaos series, which are all unique jagged cuts into these bar shapes. The clarity is excellent and looks just water clear. The polish on the stone is excellent and displays the cuts perfectly! This stone is going to make a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, either pendant or ring.
